The Bogus Basin Ski Patrol, comprised of volunteer and paid staff, is the first line of safety at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area year-round for both winter and summer activities.

The mission of Boise Adaptive Snowsport Education (BASE) is to facilitate winter sports opportunities for  individuals with disabilities through professional ski and snowboard education in a safe environment which increases physical, social, and functional skills.

Since 1942, Bogus Basin has been The Treasure Valley’s year-round destination for mountain recreation, education, and community. Bogus Basin is not for profit. It’s for Idahoans. It’s for community. And a mission to make the outdoors accessible today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.

Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation has grown to include freeski, snowboard and mountain bike programs. BBSEF provides programs for ages 6 -19 who want to compete in alpine ski racing, freeskiing & snowboarding and an alpine masters program for adults. Their focus is the development of the athlete as a whole. BBSC has established the Bob Greenwood Snowsports Scholarship  to support these young athletes. Contribute to the Scholarship Fund.
