DOLOMITES SKI TRIP (7 nights) Includes:
• Round-trip air from Boise to Venice

• Transfer between Venice Airport and Val Gardena via private coach with English speaking assistant.

• 7 nights accommodations at the 4 Star Superior Hotel Oswald, the well-groomed slopes
of the Alpe di Siusi plateau, near Val Gardena in the Dolomiti Superski ski carousel, are
just a stone’s throw away.

DOLOMITES ONLY - ONE NIGHT IN VENICE AIRPORT FOR FLIGHT HOME
If you are not participating in the 3-night Venice Art Trip, we recommend at least 1 night near Venice Airport. Most international flights out of Venice Airport are scheduled in the morning, and require a 3AM transfer out of Val Gardena if you choose not to stay 1 night at the airport before the flight. 

Overnight (for 1 night near the Venice Airport) at the 4 Star Hotel Antony in Venice-Mestre. This hotel is NOT on the island of Venice. It is located in the town of Mestre, just 10 minutes from the Airport and includes a breakfast buffet. It is a much more convenient location for those who need to spend 1 night before the flight to Boise or any other European cities.  You need to arrange your own Intra-European travel.

ROOMMATE NEEDED NOTE

Notice for individuals requesting a roommate. The trip leader will help identify a roommate if possible. However if none is found, you are ultimately responsible for either paying the difference for a single room or cancelling your trip.

NOT INCLUDED

1. Lift Passes Expense: Additional cost to purchase lift passes at the ski area or IKON passes may be purchased on their website, ikonpass.com. 
   To be determined and to be announced at a later date as more information become available: The ski resort is planning to switch to dynamic pricing for the 2025 season, which means the best prices will only be available when individuals purchase directly online. If the ski resort does not switch to dynamic pricing, BBSC’s travel agent can offer group discounts on lift tickets when purchasing in advance (an additional cost in addition to the above amounts to be announced when the ski resort releases more information).
2. Ski Rentals: BBSC members will be offered a special deal with the rental shop directly next to the Hotel Oswald.
3. Drinks with included meals are not included; drinks not indicated above are an additional expense to above amounts.
4. Meals not indicated as being included will not be included; meals not indicated above are an additional expense to above amounts.

FLIGHT AND OTHER TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

1. FLIGHTS: Every routing from Boise is going to involve a double connection. The best schedule based on 2024 schedules is on Delta Airlines. Airfare to and from Venice will be purchased for you by BBSC when the flight schedules are in range at the beginning of April 2024 — BBSC will send an update about air flights in April 2024.
2. You can extend your European vacation on your own by making your own travel arrangements. What BBSC’s travel agent will do is extend your airfare to come home from a different city or a different day, but BBSC will not make ANY individual travel arrangements for your individual extended vacation in Europe.
3. If you are extending your vacation on your own and want to change your return flight schedule, you must email a written request to Jeffery Rosendin, the trip leader. The cost will and can vary from $100.00 to several hundred depending on the availability of the flight on the day you want it on Delta Airlines (flight schedules and amounts will not be released by the airline until April 2024)

Passports must be valid through 9/3/2025. Standard passport renewals take approximately 4 months. If you are extending your stay beyond 3/3/2025, be sure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond your return date.
